After the club’s shambolic performance for the start of the season, Manchester United past and current players have questioned Ten Hag tactics, approach to games and also his management qualities.
Since the start of last season, the coach has had misunderstanding with a couple of players including Cristiano Ronaldo and former captain, Harry Maguire stripping the armband from the English defender.
His argument with Anthony Martial during the one nil defeat to Newcastle United at Sanit James park has got many asking questions if the coach is cool with the players.
Reports from some English media including Daily Mail and Sky Sports and some journalist suggest that Eric Ten Hag has lost part of the the dressing room. Also some senior players have questioned the coach tactics and approach. Others also feel that the coach is authoritarian.
According to Chris Wheeler,
“A number of senior Manchester United players are said to be questioning Erik ten Hag’s approach and tactics”.
“Some believe they have been made to train too hard this season while others feel the manager is too authoritarian”
