A few days ago insider published an article about a blowjob incidence in one of the “sexual harassment” hostel on Koforidua Technical University campus; Plantain hostel. This publication got the attention of the general public, some were surprised, some were not surprised with the reason; that is a norm in various hostels with Plantain hostel leading the chart.
After the publication, the said hostel gym instructor contacted insider to share his part of the story. Our team welcomed him and his friend. Questioning him on the said allegations leveled at him, he admitted that the incident happened but he was surprised that, after several months of happenings, why is she now bringing the story up. According to him, it was a mutual understanding not as it has been communicated by the said lady “Yaa”. According to him, he didn’t force the lady for sex nor even threatened to rape her as reported by the lady in our first publication.
These are some excerpts of the chats that transpired between the gym instructor and Insider; Nana (gym instructor), Nana’s friend and Insider
Insider: Good afternoon gentlemen, what transpired between you and ‘Yaa’
Nana’s Friend: When she came as a level 100 students, I took her as my sister, I provided for her, even if I don’t have, I make sure I provide for her because I took her as my sister. Because of our friendship, I introduced her to my close female friend, so that in case I give her money to cook, she [Yaa] can go there and eat. My friendship with Yaa nearly destroyed the relationship I have with my lady friend because she suspected I’m dating Yaa. Hmm, after all what I did for her, she went ahead to destroy me to a female friend that, I’m a scammer, a womanizer, etc…. This made me inquire from her why she is going around demonizing me, but when we confronted her, she started insulting us on top of her voice, but truth be told, none of us touched her.
Insider: But she raised some issues that, during last semester as she was training with Nana in his room, you locked her up and you sexually assaulted her, what’s your take on that.
Nana: Yeah, let me tell you what happened, for me, I’m a trainer. She told me, she feels shy to train at our usual training place, so as I do train some of the ladies in my room, I decided to train her in my room too. After the training, I started watching a movie on my laptop, I told her to go, but she resisted. So I forced her to leave and she left.
Insider: So, Nana, you insist, you never sexually abused her? …………………….
Nana: hmm “Blowjob no de3 Ↄde maa me” (as for the blowjob, she gave it to me), If I had threatened her she won’t be smiling and telling the boys that, my d**k is small. How can someone I threatened will be smiling and be telling the guys all these kinds of stuff about my d**k………………
After our first publication on this issue when the lady reported to us, sources close to insider learned that she had also reported to the police and the Dean of students, the perceive gym instructor, was picked up by the Police on Friday, 29th March 31, 2019. He has been granted bail however will report to the police station on Monday, April 1, 2019.
Also, from our investigation, the Dean of Students Affairs also called both students for a statement to be taken.
