GES Releases 2021 Promotion Test Results, 29,465 Promoted

The 2021 promotion test results of staff of the Service who sat for the 2021 edition of the examination administered on February 25 and 26, 2021 to various teaching grades have been released, the Ghana Education Service (GES) announced Friday.

Out of 46,486 candidates who sat for the promotion test examination, 29,465 representing 63.3% successfully passed.

For the Deputy Director grade 3,611 candidates took the test, out of which 2,139 representing 59.2 % were successful.

For Assistant Director I, 8753 candidates sat for the examination but 5817 passed.

31,044 candidates partook the promotion test to Assistant Director II grade, out of the number, 19,801 representing 63.8% were successful.

For the Principal Superintendent grade, a total of 3,078 prospective candidates were shortlisted for the test, out of 1,708 which 55.5% recorded a pass.

The 2021 promotion examination results according to Ghana’s Education Service (GES) can be accessed on https://www.gespromotions.gov.gh for a fee of GHC 10.00
