Michy has disclosed that her breakup with self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale has been a blessing in disguise.
In an interview with Becky for Joy News, Michy says the day marks the date she ended things with Shatta Wale, her baby day
Michy, with whom Shatta Wale has a child, added that she has experienced various levels of personal development including developing a strong personal relationship with God after the breakup.
According to Michy, her ultimate goal after staying away from Shatta Wale is to be the best version of herself.
“The goal is to be my very self, the most authentic version of myself, embracing what I truly am. In terms of achieving goals since I have left, I have achieved quite a few goals which came quick, personal goals like being closer to God, I cannot leave my room today without saying a prayer to God, without reading a verse from the bible and it hasn’t always been like that. They do say that at your lowest, you seek the lord and it’s something I did at my lowest and he lifted me up…I’ve been motivated from this situation, much more than I ever was, I’ve been motivated to do proper things, I can say it was a blessing in disguise for me, it is a blessing for me” she said
Shatta Michy further revealed that she will on January 5, next year celebrate her “one year of freedom” after the breakup adding that “I’ve learned things the hard way, I’m not bitter, I’m the happiest girl at this point in my life, I don’t have everything I want, I have everything I need and I’m grateful to God for that.”
