KTU Ranked First Technical University In Ghana

Koforidua Technical University (KTU) is the country’s leading technical University in the January 2019 edition of the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities on tertiary institutions in Ghana suggests.

The rankings placed Koforidua Technical University 27^th out of 66 tertiary institutions in Ghana but top all the Technical Universities, Kumasi Technical University 28^th, Accra Technical University 30^th, Ho Technical university 36^th, Sunyani Technical University 37^th and Cape Coast Technical University 44^th.

Bolgatanga Polytechnic, Tamale Polytechnic placed 40^th and 54^th respectively.

Indicators used for the ranking were Presence, Impact, Openness and Excellence, Koforidua Technical University scored

Although ranked 27^th in Ghana and first among Technical Universities, KTU is ranked 632nd in Africa out of 1,685 tertiary institutions
