The Ten (10) Technical Universities will all assemble at the Capital City of Ghana, Accra from the 1st of February to the 10th of February 2019, to compete in the Ghana Technical University Sports Association (GHATUSA) games formally (GHAPSA) games.

In view of the above, Koforidua Technical University Sports Men and Women are already on campus preparing for the games.

Two (2) Representatives of the female basketball team this afternoon were at the only campus radio station in the Eastern Region, KTU Radio 87.7 on the Sports Lab, a sports program hosted by the Sports Dr.

The ladies, Stella Adubea-Effah and Sandra Dobil told the Sports Dr. both the male and female basketball teams are not going to repeat the mistakes committed by their predecessors in far away Bolgatanga during the last edition of the games. They said the current team is poised for action this time around.

The confident ladies said, even though the training is very rigorous, they are up to the task. Sandra said even if they are asked to play a match today, they will perform better than they did in Bolgatanga. Stella on the other hand promised she was going to win the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in Accra.

The ladies on behalf of their team mates appealed to the Vice Chancellor, Management, Staff and all Students of KTU to support and pray for them so they bring medals back to Koforidua.
